Description

Dating to around 1900, this late Victorian or early Edwardian dog collar will be of interest to a canine collector or perhaps a sporting, particularly Hockey, devotee.

Made from rich dark brown leather, the collar is decorated with brass studs and the polished brass name plate to the front, engraved " Jack - Beeston Hockey Club - Notts ".

The steel buckle incorporates a pin with a loop where a padlock would or could have been fitted once being worn. The circumference ranges from 13" to 15". Excellent condition.
