Opus Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
On the reverse note the concave indent to the handle. These slopes were used to tip the heavy meat dishes up to get all the meat juices.
The dish slope measures 16.5cm l x 7cm w x 2.5cm d at the thickest part of the slope.
