An antique mahogany dish slope with grooved front, unusual carved decoration on the top of the handle .There is a whole for hanging the slope up when not in use, this is surrounded by chip - carved decoration.On the reverse note the concave indent to the handle. These slopes were used to tip the heavy meat dishes up to get all the meat juices.
The dish slope measures 16.5cm l x 7cm w x 2.5cm d at the thickest part of the slope.
