Pair of Antique Marble Gilt Bronze Cassolettes

Description

A good pair of 19th C ormolu and marble cassolette, the bowl shaped body of marble with a ormolu collar, the lid with acorn finial, and an ormolu mount to the underneath of the body complete with finial. The three legs with ram's heads above laurel leaf decoration and terminating to 'hoof' feet, resting on a triform marble base with ormolu feet.
