Description

A George III period, mahogany drop leaf table, Circa 1770. A well figured solid mahogany almost round top, drop leaves to either side, both supported by double hinged brackets. Single drawer with original brass double swan neck handle to one end. Raised on fluted tapered square legs.

An original, high quality and handsome table. Suitable as an occasional table, side table, or even a small dining table.

Dimensions:

This table measures approximately 72 cm (28.5") tall, 95 cm (37.5") wide leaves up, and 43.5 cm (17") wide leaves down, 91 cm (36") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This original table is in good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Marks and blemishes is keeping with use. Small chip to inside corner of one leaf. Very good colour, polish and patina. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
