Antique Welsh sycamore canoe shaped butter stamp. This shaped butter stamp is more difficult to find and seems to be mainly Welsh or close to the Welsh border. Similar examples are illustrated in Pinto plate 99/100.
Well carved with flowers and foliage.
Late 1800s.. It measures 21.5cm w x 10cm d x 9cm h incl handle.
