Beautifully worked in straw on a painted estuary scene with boats in different sizes and a train making its way across the bridge. In excellent, clean and complete condition, titled Conway Bridge. Mounted in a fabulous antique original painted pine frame and under clear glass. This type of Welsh antique straw work pictures are quite rare, they were made in a country house where mothers out of wedlock were sent to have their babies in secret. To pass time, these straw work pictures of important Welsh landmarks were produced by hand.
