Attractive and rare early 19th century Grand Tour specimen marble classical column. Green Verde Antico marble column with a beautifully carved, very fine quality Carrara marble capital. The column sits on a yellow Numidico Giallo block with a Carrara marble base. Italy, probably Rome, circa 1830.
