A stunning rosewood book rest that dates to around 1880
 
It is in excellent condition with brass hinges and book stays in a very attractive fretwork design
 
Has been lightly cleaned and waxed to preserve its original patina
 
Measures 10 inches high by 7 1/2 wide
 
Would make a very attractive useful present …..could be used for music on a table top or to rest a cookery book…the options are endless
