Description

The is Victorian leather covered box can only be considered in excellent condition, due to their more delicate nature they are usually found in an appalling state. This one does have minor loss and staining (particularly on the cream coloured squares, for obvious reasons), the interior has been beautifully preserved, again for obvious reasons.

The box is in the form of two books, the "History of America" volumes one and two, gold embossed on the spine.

A good size, measuring 15" x 8 1/2" while closed.
