Adoration of the Magi Diorama in Mother of Pearl

Description

This is a beautiful diorama as the Adoration of the Magi profusely decorated in carved mother of pearl set upon a blood red background with panels of abalone shell to the frame. The piece has incredible detail with very finely carved fretwork and a cartouche to the upper crest. The central triptych arch has three dimensional figures of the nativity carved from solid mother of pearl. The cabinet is in solid olive wood with its original stand in good order.

The piece is in super condition overall and measures 35 cms high 30 cms wide by 10 cms deep.
