Description

This is a wonderful antique Chinese carved brush pot full of character dating from the late 18th Century. The carved pen wipe is formed as a recumbent lion dog and has a brocade ball under its left paw. The antique has a really superb rich colour and good patina to the hardwood. The lion dog is 20 cms long, 10 cms high and 6 cms deep.
