Description

A lovely original bakelite telephone dating from the 1930s in a desirable and rare Ivory colour. It is an attractive pyramid shape with a chrome rotary dial. It has its original braided cable from the receiver into the back of the telephone. It is stamped "P.O. PL35 / 234 No.164L" on the base.

It is in good condition for its age but does have a few signs of age and use. There are a few areas of discolouration which may clean up but I have only given it a light clean and have not gone over the top. There are no major damages, chips or breaks but there are some small stress cracks on the receiver near the ear / mouth piece (see photos). There are some other light surface marks and some slight tarnishing on the chrome dial but nothing detrimental and overall it displays very well.

It has not been converted or messed around with, it is totally original and is not being sold as a working item but a beautiful decorative piece.
