This is one of 5 magnificent 18th century gilt wood crests I found on my travels to France.

It is so rare to find these in such fantastic condition. They are incredibly old, dating from the late 1700s.

Wonderful hand carved detail and beautiful original gilt.

These crests would make beautiful decorative items hanging on a wall.
