Description

An early 1900's antique treen jigsaw in the shape of a wooden ball. Described by Pinto as a Chinese globe puzzle, being as difficult to make as it is to assemble'. Its made from one piece of wood and all the pieces slide out. There are a couple of repairs to the tips of two pieces

Illustrated in Plate 241 in Treen and other wooden bygones by Pinto

It measures approx 7.5cm w.
