A Chinese Hardstone Collection of Fruit Together with a Carved Alabaster Leaf Dish

This very pleasing group dates from circa 1920 and originates from China. It consists of three items of fruit, grapes, plum and fig which have been hand carved in rose quartz mounted on wired and woven stems and presented with a selection of green hardstone individual leaves. This interesting group comes together with a hand carved cream and pale brown veined alabaster double leaf dish which displays the hardstone fruit well. A tactile and eye catching group with a very pleasing colour combination in good original condition.
