An elegant walnut side table in the manner of Edward William Godwin.
Made from walnut, this 19th-century occasional or coffee table has a wonderful light honey colour. It features fine turned legs and lattice bracing beneath the lower tier. This is characteristic design feature thought to have been influenced by ancient Egyptian antique furniture, which Godwin sketched at the British Museum.
