A Georgian mahogany cheese coaster standing on four brass castors. Roundel decoration on the sides.
The Georgian mahogany cheese coasters were used to place rounds/half rounds of cheese in. The castors on the base were so the coaster could be rolled down the dinig room to guests.
Good colour and patina.
