Weathered Carved Marble Statue of Two Cranes Feeding

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare opportunity to purchase a marble statue of this size.

The figures of the two cranes clearly show them feeding on a rocky bed. We assume that this piece has been sited in a pond setting. due to the amount of weathering and algae. This could easily be removed if the buyer preferred.

The condition overall is good. However there is small piece missing from the tip of one beak. We have tried to show this.in our photos.

For obvious reasons delivery costs will have to be discussed with the purchaser due to the weight of the piece. I can arrange this.
