The Antique Partnership has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It has good lenses without cracks or chips and it produces a clear well magnified image.

The stand rotates correctly and adjusts vertically via the U shaped barrel grip which is secured by a brass butterfly nut. The short turned oak legs are finished with iron feet. A previous owners name is stamped twice on the stand leg and head stock T.A. Barker.
