This wonderful 19thC occassional table has a specimen wood parquetry top, consisting of satinwood, rosewood, walnut amongst others with ebony stringing. It stands on a bobbin turned base (possibly associated) terminationg in small brass casters. A most unusual and pleasing countryhouse item. It does show signs of age related wear but is an unusual and handsome piece nontheless.
