Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The front is decorated with pretty pierced gilded corner brackets and a shaped and engraved plaque to the top (currently engraved with the name ‘Pamela’; which could be removed or perhaps the plaque itself reversed). The reverse is covered in maroon leather including the hinged easel style stand.
