The stitching to the leather is intact and the single draw is smooth. There are cleaning scratches to the object lens internally but these have no bearing on the operation of the scope and it produces a good clear image. There are minor dents from use on the barrel and the brass has not been polished. The sun shade pulls out easily. A later mahogany stand enables the telescope to be displayed and kept safe.
