The finest quality example of a 19th century police truncheon we've seen in over thirty years. This exquisite Victorian truncheon, in absolutely superb condition, retains its original stunning quality painted calligraphy and art work comprised of the royal crown with gilded harebells and scrolling leaves. The finely-turned beehive grip is almost certainly in solid boxwood. This top quality police truncheon is English, c.1880.
