Description

An absolutely superb example of an early 20th century tailor's dummy by the highly revered London/Paris manufacturer Stockman, with its original ebonised tripod base, shoulder caps, and finial surmount. It has its original thumbscrew mechanism allowing the height to be adjusted. To the finial it has finely crafted calligraphic logo of the Stockman branding to two sides. This beautiful tailor's dummy, c.1910/1920, is in incredibly good condition for an example retaining its original finely-stitched linen covering.
