M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
. The top edge having a shaped and moulded lip and and the base fitted with a heavily-moulded weighted section to provide stability.

Fitted with a removable black-painted tinned zinc liner .
In excellent original condition with a rich colour and patina. The painted liner with some scratches and wear commensurate with age , use and purpose. (Could be re-painted if desired)

Has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
A decorative and practical addition for a hall-way .
