A most unusual set of frames. Well carved with a very good patination. The recess would hold paintings or mirrors although they were probably for artworks. Lovely condition, with crisp deep carving. The tip of one arch return is missing, so perhaps a half inch, please see images of the larger of the three. Dimension are for the largest. The pair measure 41cm x 23cm.
