Description

A beautiful example of an English prayer book gold embossed to the front " Church Services ". There is a gilded closure, fully working to keep the book firmly closed, the edges of the inside back & front covers are decorated with intricate gold embossing.

There is a charming inscription; " Miss Simonds, a present from her affectionate sister on her 21st Birthday ".

Excellent condition, with some foxing to the front but pristine in the most part. A lovely example, measuring 5" x 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" thick.
