Description

This delightful small weaving from the Ottoman period is probably a fragment from a towel. The woven linen ground is covered with rows of pretty flowers which have been embroidered in pastel silk colours. The workmanship is fine. Very good condition, clean and ready for use. It would look wonderful mounted.
