Description

This is a charming late 19th century carved hardwood Indian caparisoned elephant with silver, gemstone and bone work detail. The elephant dates from around 1870 and has chased and stamped designs to the silver with a nicely carved stance to the animal with bone tusks and toes inset.

The piece is a neat size measuring 8 cms high 10 cms long by 6 cms wide.
