This well-detailed, heavy and impressive VICTORIAN CAST IRON DOOR STOP or DOOR PORTER dates from circa 1860.

It is modelled as a Lion Rampant on a Socle Base. It stands well and is very sturdy.

During its life it has been painted black which now shows the odd sign of wear.

Depth: 2.5 inches (6.5 cm)
