. Gun maker to the prince of Wales and the duke of York . In the collection at Windsor a pair of pistols appeared for the first time with the trade mark “ gun makers to his royal Highness “.

The nicely shaped brass barrel is stamped with the proof mark and also London on the top . The lock is signed D . Egg . The gun has its original flick bayonet and a good working action . The trigger guard , in brass, has an acorn design finial. The original ram rod has a horn top . All in nice condition for its age , having a good coloured stock mounted with a brass butt plate .
