Large English Pair of 19th century Antique Oak Library Book Trays

This pair of quality antique oak book trays are both in very good, original condition and have brass bound corners with carrying handles to each side and both have the original baize covered bottoms, to protect surfaces.

They are good, larger than usual size, once used in an English 19th century Library to collect books from the bookcases to take to the reading tables. They are perfect to use on bedside tables for reading matter or as trays. English and dating from around 1870.
