Carved Wooden Galleon Model

1900 - 1920
Description

This highly decorative Carved Wooden Galleon Model would enhance any wall where it was displayed. Carved from Pine and beautifully painted and distressed to add real character to the piece.

Although relatively thin from front to back, the clever use of perspective adds real depth to the model. The paint has aged to wonderful harmonious tones, and the model wears its age with pride, but pleased to report the sail patches are original! Sure to give any room a nautical feel and guaranteed to catch the eye as it sails along the wall. Comes complete with two hooks on the back to hang it with.
