E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
A Birdseye Maple banded edge and a cast brass moulding running around the side edge. The apron below having boxwood and ebony stringing and brass lions mask ring handles to the bowed ends. The turned and fluted legs joined by an undertier which has the cast brass side moulding over shaped apron inlaid with stringing and having a central foliate inlaid shaped cartouche to each long side. The undertier held by shaped supports running down from the top and swept supports running to above the mushroom shaped feet which are on leaf cast brass toes.
