Campaign butler''s tray 19th century, mahogany. Unusual brass reinforcement bar. Attractive large proportions and brasswork.
From the 17th Century Eaton Hall, country house of the Duke of Westminster, after it was demolished in the early 1960s.
A new hall was built in the 1960s and the old furniture being unsuitable for the new hall was sold at a dispersal by Wingates Auctioneers, Wrexham.
Unfortunately the sale catalogue has been lost.
