Edwardian iron safe made by quality British safe manufacturer Samuel Withers, With brass handle in the form of a hand holding a baton, brass escutcheon and original green painted & gilt lined finish with heavy hinged door and small internal drawer.

The Withers were a family of safe makers in West Bromwich The Withers story starts with George Withers, an iron turner he had nine children Samuel Withers of Samuel Withers & Co. was one of them.
