A good quality antique mid 19thc officer's sidelock percussion belt pistol by Alexander Martin of Glasgow.

Heavy octagonal steel .650" dia smooth bore barell, top flat signed Martin Glasgow.

Hardwood diamond cut grip, with blank silver oval owners cartouche.

Condition: Original captive ramrod. Strong original belt clip. The action strong and holds as It should. The body and frame decorated with typical scrolled engraving, and of good uniform colour. Minor consolidation to upper frame.
