This is a rare Victorian antique butter stamp. The butter stamp/mould is turned from sycamore and has a very unusual carved pheasant on the stamp.

Butter stamps are often carved representing the type of farm that they originated from and the more common ones tend to be cows, wheat etc its very uncommon to see a pheasant.

A great piece of history.
