Rare and interesting collection of 19th century medical/surgeons instruments belonging to Dr A C E Harris an eminent surgeon who died in 1928.There are 3 boxes with multiple instruments inside and a file of paperwork provided by the family which relates to the surgeons career/obituary etc.

Most likely field/campaign instruments several of the boxes are marked A C E Harris and 'Christs College'. As well as an assortment of scalpels and other instruments there is a lovely folding amputation saw with either a bone or ivory handle.

The items are in good antique condition in line with age and use with minor marks/wear etc. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to view the item.
