Philips' 19" Terrestrial Globe Circa 1938

1920 - 1940
Description

Dating to just before the Second World War this was the largest table top globe made by Philips at 19" (48cm) in diameter. Top to bottom it measures 27" (69cm) and weighs 20 lbs (9kg). It is in superb original condition with no damage, it spins easily, the brass graduated meridian half ring is firmly mounted to the walnut base.
