Late victorian set of carpet croquet

The mallets heads and balls are made of box wood the stand is turned mahogany and it comes with a pine box

Missing one of the start/ end posts and one mallet has been broken and has an old repair of fine twine , 2 bits of lead missing off the base of hoops , some chipping to the paint on the balls

A very charming piece and great talking point

English circa 1890's
