Georgian Oval Tray on Later Stand

Description

Good Georgian mahogany and satinwood cross banded oval tray on later Edwardian made stand. This piece comes with the original receipt from 1908 from Muirhead Moffat of Glasgow. As can be seen it cost over £32 at the time which was a fortune. The oval tray has a wide satinwood cross banding and an oval flame mahogany inlay to the centre with boxwood and ebony stringing. The mahogany stand has matching boxwood and ebony stringing. Good condition and a perfect size and height for a coffee table.
