A stunning games box in all it’s glory! The main exterior wood is solid mahogany in a great condition with a small oval brass inlay on the centre lid. As you open you are greeted with an array of games dating to the Victorian era. Inside the lid is the folding leather board for chess, draughts and back gammon. We have a full set of chess and draught pieces made from boxwood and ebony all in a super condition. The 2 red dice shakers are also made from leather. A real stunning collectors example great for display and of course for use. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key. This example dates to mid Victorian 1850.
