An attractive and unusual Victorian 3 fold screen with hand painted oil on canvas panels to the front. Each section having an ebonised frame with gilded slips. The first painting having a scene of water lilies and reeds with 3 swans. The second water scene with reeds, flowers and 2 wading herons. The third scene with mountainous terrain and a red deer stag standing guard over his herd. The reverse of the screen is fabric lined and embroided with kingfishers, flamingos, butterflies, bullrushes, water lilies and other plant life. The whole in good serviceable condition with a slight twist to the left hand screen and could possibly benefit from the oil paintings being cleaned. Dimensions:- Height…72.5’’/ 184cm.
