Description

Chinese tapestry work or 'Kesi' can be very fine. This piece is no exception. It is very finely woven. The design is a classical scene with warriors on horseback. In the top right corner is a standard. The silk is generally in good condition, slightly fragile in places in the border. There is also some fading to the lavender dye. This is a charming and decorative piece which is presently in its original red lacquered frame.
