Made by Davis & Wilson of Sun Street West, Birmingham makers of Whips, Walking Sticks, Mounts & Canes in 1876 this Palmwood sword stick has a silver plated knop and collar, a hexangonal probe type blade and ends in a steel ferrule. It was probably used by a goods inspector, customs officer or farmer to check out cargo. In very good condition.
