Antique Treen Meat Holder - For Holding the Bone Whilst Carving

Description

A 19th century sycamore bone holder. These were used when carving lamb, towards the base is a screw thread finger piece which would tighten around the lamb bone to make carving easier whilst at the dining table. 

It measures 13cm h x 5.5cm w including the handle.
