A lovely late 19th century, French, ormolu desk encrier by Hazart, in the Louis XV style. The finely cast and chased shaped frame inset with a lacquer panel, supporting three lidded urns, containing a sand sifter and two porcelain inkwells, with a central bell. Signed to the base ‘Eug Hazart Paris’. Retaining the original gilding.
