A lovely example of a Victorian sampler. The sampler is worked in four colours by Annie Morris aged 12 with flowers and birds and a great blackberry border. The colours are bright and fresh, and the whole sampler is in good condition with only some very minor losses but no holes. The simple mahogany frame is the original and it doesn''t appear to have been touched.
