A fine, Belle Epoque, gilt bronze and Carrara marble encrier in the Louis XVI style. The seated figure of a putti with arms outstretched holding aloft a candle sconce in each hand, flanked by a pair of inkwells, containing sand sifter and a glass inkwell, with a central ormolu dish tray.
Retaining the original gilding with some wear and staining to the marble as to be expected.
